Notes
Conversation between Caroline and alyson:
a: I wanted to share some news from a fellow alumna, a former colleague, and (most importantly), a friend.
I started working with Caroline in a coaching capacity earlier this year and it was one of the best decisions I have made. Both personally and professionally, Caroline helped me identify what I want in the next phase of my life. She helped me not only articulate but achieve my goal. With her coaching, I moved onto a new role doing exactly what I wanted. We’ll still be working together this fall, focusing on different things.
If anyone is at a place where they need or want some help clarifying what’s next, I cannot recommend working with Caroline enough. And also, she’s a truly wonderful human being. If any of you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or her!
C:As you know, coaches work in partnership with you towards a specific goal or set of goals. Sometimes, people use a coach to help them get “unstuck.” I come to coaching as a 20-year veteran of the nonprofit sector: I have navigated career changes, grad school and growing a family. Coaching can offer support in navigating these and other types of transitions.
As I am entering a six-month certification process in Co-Active Coaching, I am offering coaching sessions on (an extremely) sliding scale for anyone in the nonprofit sector. I believe everyone should have access to coaching — especially those working in the public service — and that cost should not be a barrier.
We start with a (free) 30-minute chemistry session where I will delve further into what Coaching is and what I offer, what some of your goals are, and how coaching can help people live fulfilling, balanced lives.
