Spring 2025 Nomination Form

Leadership Fellows at The Trust is a program created by the Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College and its Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management. Its aim is to ensure that tomorrow’s nonprofit organizations have the human capital to flourish and advance their missions on behalf of the nation.

Please note that if you have not reviewed program information and eligibility requirements, you may do so here.

Classes for the Spring 2025 cohort will run from April 2025 through June 2025. All sessions will be conducted in-person at The New York Community Trust offices (909 3rd Ave, 22nd Floor, New York, NY 10022) with a few sessions at Baruch College (135 East 22nd Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10010) each Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Eligibility Requirements
Our program is open to all mid-career professionals currently employed by an organization that has received a grant within the last three years from the New York Community Trust. The applicant must be an exceptional individual who has demonstrated managerial and/or leadership talent and has had at least a minimum of five years of overall nonprofit experience for acceptance into the program.

Change Project
Leadership Fellows are required to design and begin to implement a project for their organizations over the course of the fellowship. This change project should be of front-burner importance to the organization and provide the fellow with an opportunity to expand their managerial and leadership skills. Fellows are able to modify or change their projects after the semester begins, as long as their nominating officer approves of the changes.

Applicants will receive a copy of their completed application form upon submission. If you do not receive a confirmation email, then you have not successfully submitted your responses.

If you have any questions about applying to be a Leadership Fellow, please email Shel Ho, Administrative Director, at info@fellows.gbtesting.us.
